Did you guys know you can play Clash of Clans on PC? I just installed an Android emulator on my desktop and it works !! Watch the video here, it’s shaky sorry, but I held my phone with my left hand while going on my first raid using a mouse to see if it would be user friendly.

It is with my heart in my hand that I’m writing this.  As you know participating in this game take a little effort. Being a clan Leader takes a lot more effort, and being the Leader of several clans takes a huge effort, something that I have jokingly referred to, on occasions, as a full time job. It is a job I could not do without co-leaders and all players willingness to work toward a common goal. For a while we have seen an overall decay in the quality of this effort by some members of our clans, while other work really hard to help us move forward. I am not willing anymore to reward laziness by keeping these people with us. I admit I have been too lenient in the past, and probably that has lead to the erosion of some of our values but from now on myself, and the co-leaders, need to reward those of you who truly make an effort to be a part of our family.
Clan Wars have changed everything, they have changed the whole game dynamics, but clan wars are here to stay and it doesn’t matter how much you dislike them, they are part of us now. Your effort is to attack twice and get as many stars as possible, it really isn’t a big effort. When you don’t participate you are effectively telling your clan mates that you don’t care if they spent tons of resources to fill War Castles or to create a killing army, same as leeching. It’s unacceptable and we will accept that behavior less and less.
Another point I need to make: if you’re a co-leader it is now MANDATORY to participate in the Leadership chat of the Line app. It’s were we get together and make decision, if you’re not in it you’re missing on our decisions and therefore you cannot keep yourseld and the rest of the clan members updated on what we are doing. If you can’t participate it’s ok, but please step down from co-leader position. It’s not a big deal, co-leader is a position to help our clans. Co-leaders are not better than Elders, they are just busier 🙂

And finally… we decided to make am alternate schedule of wars for Solamnia and Xak Tsaroth so there will always be a war going. So if you love wars you will be able to do that back to back… but there’s more, if you don’t want to war, rather than missing attacks and getting everyone else frustrated (and contributing to us losing) you have now two options:
Option 1) If you think you’ll be inactive for an extended period of time go to Heroes Rest, that’s our resting clan. It’s inactive, no donations necessary, no in-game chat. Once you’re ready return to your official clan (reminder: as of now level 0-69 belong to Xak Tsaroth; level 70+ TH8 at least belong to Solamnia).
Option 2) Jump between our clans before war starts. This way you can be active and not be counted toward war. This option requires you to be active.

Soon we will be publishing the war schedule and this will be permanent in order to avoid confusions.

As we temporarily put Solamnia at War to rest, wars have resumed in Solamnia. The first war in a long time just ended with a victory, our final score was 60 – 42 against the Clan French Kiss.
Only 43 attacks were used of the 70 available, which is not good. We need to do better guys.
N’taressa had the most heroic attack, and trust me, it was fun to watch. If you haven’t head to Solamnia’s war log to watch the replay before it disappears.
ÀHickle had the most heroic defense, unfortunately he didn’t use any of his attacks.

A new war was started (against my will) right after this one. You co-leaders, please do not start wars without checking with me first. Sometimes we need to warn or kick the inactive before starting a new war.

After battling 3 back-to-back wars which ended with 1 victory and 2 losses in a row we decided to take a one week break to brainstorm on how to diminish our losses.
We will announce the next war in Line chatrooms as well as with in-game announcements. Stay Tuned!

After a definitive win, our record now stands at 10 wins – 3 Losses – 1 Draw.

SAW will be doing 3 back to back to back wars starting Sept. 29th @ 8 pm Pacific Time Zone.  We are doing a one week trial run where Pax and Xak do not war, and join SAW instead.

We haven’t posted in a while.  In summary, we’ve lost some and won some…..more winning than losing.  We are presently kicking butt.  YAAAAAA!!!!!!

This war against ‘Khmer Style’ surprisingly ended in a draw 43 – 43.  At the last minute, Blinky, starving, bleeding, limping on one leg, attacked against the odds, and the king made what looked to be an improbable B line right towards the TH to get our clan an unlikely two stars ending our war in a draw instead of a loss as many were expecting at the end.  I was floored Blinky!  U DA MAN!

On another note, everyone attacked twice, which we are very thankful for, except Abdullah.  Abdullah is MIA.  We will be conducting a search and rescue operation immediately.  We will stop at nothing to find and rescue him.  However, rumour has it, his mother confiscated his phone.  If that’s the case, you are on your own Abdullah.  We don’t mess with mom.  Abdullah, you must still declare your love for Justin Bieber.

007 award goes to no one because no one could spy.

Golden Warrior award goes to Baba for getting six stars in war!  You rock baba!

Silver Warrior award goes to Fynn, Hades, AA, Dark Night, Viking for getting at least one three star attack.

Deadly Defender award goes to Chief, Honey (3), Baba, Viking, Hades for successfully defending your base at some point in the war.  Props to Fynn for being too intimidating to attack.

Note on strategy:  It’s really important that the bottom 75% of players use their first attack right away.  That will then give other players a good idea as to where they need to fill in the gaps.  Similarly, top players should not hold on to both attacks until the end.  That creates a domino effect of other top players not being able to attack.  Top players should use their first attack shortly after many have attacked.  It’s always hard to judge, but I was thinking that some of us attacked some opponents who were too low, while others attacked opponents who were too high.  Don’t go too low or two high.  An attack too high is a wasted attack.  An attack too low takes attacks away from our fellow lower players.  Don’t overthink too much as sometimes at the end you need to throw this logic out the window and do whatever you have to do to win.  Also, good job, giving and receiving advice guys.

We were defeated by treeslayerz 45 – 53.  On a very positive note, we received 100% participation, which is something to congratulate ourselves on!  Our high participation has won us some wars in the past, but not this time.

We’ve got a lot of good things going for us, but I notice that the vast majority of the time in wars in Solamnia and SAW, we seem to always average less stars per attack then our enemy.  This could mean that many of us have poor attacking strategies for some reason.  If that is you, allow someone to coach you or check out some better attacking strategies online or on youtube.  We need to improve in this area.

I want to acknowledge Hades for donating the vast majority of the war castle troops.

007 award goes to Angel.  You rock my world!  Abdullah messed things up by spying when he was in the war and got caught!  Please don’t spy if you are in the war.  Let someone outside the war do the spying.
